In Ras al-Khaimah, His Excellency Sheikh Taleb bin Saqr al-Kasimi and accompanying Sheikh Hamid bin Muhammad al-Kasimi visited the "Dervnya ben Druish" Museum, located in the Zait region of Ras al-Khaimah. Sheikh Taleb bin Saqr al-Kasimi expressed his admiration for the museum collections and its departments, noting their organization and work, emphasizing that museums and traditional settlements are aimed at protecting the local culture and Emirati heritage from extinction, as they represent an inseparable part of the national identity, of which we are proud and strive to establish it at the heart of the following generations.
He emphasized that the UAE pays attention to the heritage and documentation of the lives of ancestors, appreciating the efforts made by Ali bin Druish for revealing national and folk heritage. Ali bin Druish noted that the museum contains many rare and unique heritage items, as well as several ancient manuscripts, old coins, which constitute a live window into the past for all those eager to learn about the heritage and culture of this land.
